Even though McCain has an 87% conservative rating from the American Conservative Union (I think that's the main conservative group in the USA) he's not my favorite candidate. I believe him to be sincere. I believe Obama to be sincere as well. Both of these men want the best for the country. I have to say that I totally disagree with just about everything that Barak Obama has said during this campaign. I don't agree with everything John McCain has done during his time in the Senate either. But McCain is so much closer to my core social and political beliefs. He's not the perfect candidate because only I could ever be the perfect candidate for myself and I'm not running. I believe that to be true for all of us who are interested in politcs. I'm with you in your idea that we should pray that GOD use and bless the winner of this upcoming election. Bottom line: GOD bless the USA. McCain does little except quote the "right wing" standard answer to any question. His voting record, on the other hand, is hardly one that could wear the "conservative" label. Just get all the facts from reliable sources about both candidates, and then pray and ask God who to vote for. Then, pray that God will bless and use the winner, no matter who it is, to better our country. God is that powerful, and can do all things if asked. That's what faith is all about, I believe. Letting all these things bounce around inside your head and getting angry is not what Jesus would have done. He would have loved all, no matter what the circumstance. It's easy if you try.
